Job Description
A world's leading supplier of innovative airborne and ground based infrared and visible light imaging systems for military, law enforcement and commercial applications, is currently seeking a qualified candidate who will be part of our Customer Service, Operations team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing service operations including repair and troubleshooting functions to component level on complex electro-optical equipment. Position requires set-up and calibration tasks; building and troubleshooting of systems; as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Interface with engineers on process and design issues. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the customer service process and continued process improvements.
Qualifications
Ideal individual will possess high school diploma or equivalent experience. AA degree in electronic technology or equivalent training, (ie:such as military training). Position requires 4-6 years technician level experience involving complex assembly, testing, troubleshooting and prototyping skills in a high tech environment. Under limited supervision, will work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May provide guidance and training to others as required.
