Our client is a major legal practice with lawyers qualified in no fewer than 17 jurisdictions worldwide and fluent in over 37 languages. The firm has built a specialist position advising international business on trading and commercial matters and critical to this is a commercial pragmatic approach.

They have a number of exciting job vacancies for Solicitors/Lawyers of at least 4 years pqe to work in their Dubai office. The ideal candidates will have qualified in the United Kingdom or a common law jurisdication such as Canada or Australia.

Candidates will have had exposure to a wide variety of corporate commercial work including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity.

Candidates

-4 + PQE
-Experience and exposure to a wide range of Corporate matters
-A keenness to assume responsibility and take a pro-active and commercial approach to issues
-Good initiative and the ability to work independently or in a small team
-Previous client contact and a desire to deal with clients directly on a day to day basis
-A real interest in marketing and the ability to foster long-term client relationships
-Languages skills, experience within the mining and oil and gas sectors, and any international/ cross boarder experience will be a plus

The successful candidate should be able to handle their own caseload with minimum supervision and be looking for a medium to long-term opportunity. The ability to supervise junior lawyers would be an advantage.
