Description: WELDER , McClelland Marine Geosciences, Inc UK, they are provider of geotechnical engineering & consulting services and Due to Expansion have Commission us to Recruit Urgently on there Behalf Welders (16), Duties Performed: • Lays out work from blueprints or instructions and preparing of the metal for fabricating or repair. • Performs flat, vertical, horizontal, andoverhead welding as assigned by supervisor • Becomes experienced in brass and silver soldering, crazing and knowledgeable in welding temperatures of various types and thicknesses of metal and alloys. • Performs other duties as assigned, including maintenance on equipment, and cleaning of shop area. • Assists mechanic and machinist in repair and maintenance of company filed equipment as required. • Maintains appropriate communication throughout division to assist in the repair or fabrication of equipment. • Other related duties as required. Essential Qualifications: • High School Diploma plus graduate of a Welding Technical School. • 2 3 years experience. • Valid driver's license; • Good math aptitude. • Tact and judgment • A working knowledge of welding tools and equipment, and of cutting equipment, grinders, and hard surface welding rods. • Able to read blueprints; sketches, layout, or instructions. • A knowledge and understanding of professional's safety standards. • A good mechanical aptitude. • Constant Travels between UK and Dubai can be expected.
