Job Description Luxury fashion retail business with an impressive portfolio of brands requires a trend driven merchandiser to join their successful team. Working alongside the brand managers in a number of key trading areas, you will support stock levels, communicate brand vision and support operational objectives and will coach and develop the assistant merchandisers to achieve brand objectives. On a day to day basis you shall plan merchandise requirements and forecast sales to project category performance and margin. We are looking for someone who is challenging and will always looks for ways to improve commercial support and ensure maximisation of sales and profit margins. You must demonstrate a commercial head – from identifying best selling trends and establishing demand through store and customer contact to recommending stock builds and assessing store merchandising plans. We are looking for an individual with experience of working within a high end luxury environment; department store experience would be advantageous. You must demonstrate strong analytical skills, a great understanding of the retail system and solid experience as a senior merchandiser and will enjoy a high level of responsibility.
