Our client, a leading marketing services agency, is currently seeking a Front End Developer / Flash Designer / Interface Designer to join their expanding and fast paced team.
Based in Dubai, the Interface Designer is responsible for the production of first class interfaces for websites, micro sites and other digital projects. The position requires authentic and modern interface design skills, a solid grasp of the latest web standards, passionate about animation, strong working knowledge of flash and Action script and a clear understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals and excellent communication skills.
As a successful candidate you will be a graduate in Multimedia/motion graphic with 4 years experience in interactive design and programming. You will have experience designing highly usable, effective interfaces for web sites and/or web-based applications. Also, you will need to be attuned with current trends in design, from corporate through funky and everything in between with a solid, modern design sense. Fanatical attention to detail down to the pixel, basic comprehension of information design and a very keen eye on motion graphics are also key parts of the role. Expert knowledge in Flash and Actionscript 2 & 3, with AS3 would be a plus. Should be proficient in developing standards-compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
