Job Description Assist in the preparation and check engineering procedures, specifications and standards. Prepare and check drawings, input and extract information from 3D model, input to design database, data sheets, bulk material requisitions, and associated technical bid evaluations. Check and review MTO`s, material vendor proposals, documentations and drawings. Participate in project, client and vendor meetings Prepare man-hour and material cost estimates. Provide interview assistance with the recruitment of personnel. Provide Input to Construction Sub Contract, evaluate bids and supervise contractor. Act as a mentor to other employees Execute other engineering activities specific to the Piping technical area such as Safety & HAZOP reviews. 3D Plant Design reviews. P&I reviews.

Desired Candidate's Profile

Profile A minimum of five years of piping design experience in chemical/petrochemical/oil & gas/power generation environment •Working knowledge of International Codes is a must •Proficiency with AutoCAD, PDS, relevent software •Proficiency with 3D piping and layout design software •SolidWorks knowledge and experience is an asset •Experience with large welded support structures is an asset •Superior communication skills, written and oral •Excellent analytical thinking and independent judgment •Excellent attention to detail & self organization
